Passover often comes late March and early April, if the new moon first light falls early in March as the 12th month, we know the barley is not Abib yet meaning good yet (remember the month Abib comes from ripe barley) meaning the month has to be aligned with ripened barley. if the moons come early in March, then we will wait and count another month in ancient times called Adar II, meaning the year carried 13 months / Moons, Once the new moon is established, the feast days are counted forward according to fixed numerical instructions in Leviticus 23.

For example:

  • Day 1: New moon (beginning of the month)

  • Day 14: Passover

  • Day 15–21: Feast of Unleavened Bread

This system is consistent across all appointed times, including the seventh-month feasts such as Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles.
